Here's one of the drawings from the marathon at the New York Studio School. This piece was a fairly large square, about 44"x44". I focused on creating a relational drawing with pathways through the space. The space is described in "zones" of color (blue for the background, brown for the middle, and red for the fore. Perceptual difference is corrected with white, with the realization that space itself has a visual weight. Plenty more where this came from. From the model. Acrylic paint on paper.
