Flower Perception
Mondrian did flower drawings, why can't I? Here's a drawing of some gladiolas (gladiolae?) hanging out on my table. Some are wilted or drooping, some are healthy. The large middle flower actually wilted over the course of the drawing (3 sittings), and hopefully this is evident 18"x24" (HB, B, 2B, 6B). Enjoy.

Self Portrait
Self-portrait. Calming down with the details, paying more attention to the color. This was with a limited palette. The closest I got to blue was dioxazine purple. Also cadmiums yellow, orange, and red deep, along with yellow ochre, titanium white, and a touch of lamp black. Enjoy.
